We often hear about the ‘Hand of God’! The hands we pierced even though he came in peace to save this world and save us sinners. So what really does the ‘Hand of God’ mean or rather ‘Do’.
For hands were meant to do things. Thats how we always perceived hands. And these are not human hands but the divine omnipotent hands of God! Hold his hand and he will lead you. The truth is once you trust him it is not how tight you hold his hand- It is how firmly and tightly. He holds your hand. He will not let go of you at any time. Thats a true father’s hand- it loves you, guides you, disciplines you, protects you, blesses you! Once you are in His hands you can be at peace and rest assured the he who watches over you will not slumber nor sleep!!
The Hand of God Rules! Of all the attributes, it is the sovereign nature of God that makes his hand all powerful and can fulfil all the promises he has given to us- He rules. he is the King of Kings. So what he says will come to pass. And when that hand is on your side you are in the shadow of a great King!
