How Jesus works and serves for his children John chapters 14,15,16
Redeemed us with his blood- justified us. Brought us out of guilt and stripped Satan of his power to accuse those who believe in Christ. We died with Christ on the cross and are reborn through the baptism of the Holy Spirit – justification.
Then he pleads with the Father to sanctify us. Leads us to sanctification by giving us the word. Sealing us with the Holy Spirit as an advocate and counsel to us in our day to day lives. He leaves us with his commands and the revealed will of God which keeps us on the narrow path to the narrow gate. He makes us the living stones of his temple and adopts us to son ship in heaven. This love he pours into our hearts makes us hate sin, transforms us and renews our minds and hearts- sanctification.
He does not stop there. He then ascends to heaven and seated at the right hand of the father he prays daily for us sinners that we are glorified in God. He promises to return and take us to His fathers house with many rooms. To bring us to eternal bliss and stay bathed in glory of God in Heaven. He is preparing us to present us to the father – holy, blameless and without spot. – glorification.
