A living hope…

Born again into a living hope,
Resurrection power is within our scope.
Gives you the patience in tribulation,
As you are assured of jubilation.

You endure because you know,
Faith and character is what you grow.
Even though the results come slow,
Do not be afraid, from God hope will flow.

Hope is part of his eternal plan,
It is not there only when you can.
In you God we put our Hope,
Not in us, saints, prophets or the pope.

I can proclaim “The Lord is my portion,
Therefore I will hope in Him, in devotion.”
Through His Son, His Hope he gave,
If you believe, He will surely save.

So, confessing our hope we peacefully live,
For, we know him, whom we believe,
He who promised is faithful,
To Him you will always be grateful.
