“You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free” (John 8:32)
Jesus Christ preached to the common people and hence always told the truth in plain language. Over the years the Word has been brought to us through the Bible and we have had many intermediaries and people who have helped spread the message and often interpret it for us. There are whole colleges and course, theologians and spiritual leaders who try to find many meanings and understanding of the simple Bible. Did God really make it so difficult for us to understand His words. Do you really think His words can only be understood and followed by the elite intelligent or the well-read wise men?
My own journey into the search of truth and understanding Him has been quiet bumpy and irregular to be honest. But it was always interesting to note that the messages when read and received in the right vein or in the right circumstances were only plain and clear. All I thought it needed was just the courage to accept. To believe. To just absorb. Was the Word so said and written that you only agree if you rationalise it and then test it and when all is good you say “yes” to it? No. There is an “Absolute” nature to His Word and that by itself is the fundamental truth for many of us to accept. And when we understand that infinitesimal and all compassing nature of the message then the rest is easy. It is that first step where we all have the difficulty and the pause as human thinking by nature has not been designed to be like that. Especially when you are the so called “educated”.
So in the coming few posts my intention is to look at the Lord’s teachings purely as a common man and to really say the truth as it felt to me. And I found it easy to just accept when we relate it to human situations or scenarios or events. For we are mere human. What we need to understand is that the supernatural is vastly and completely different from the natural. To even try and argue or to analyse or to rationalise the Supernatural concept through our limited existential knowledge and views is not only impossible, but incorrect. So I don’t even want to attempt that. Believe or Don’t Believe. Just as plain as that. And don’t need to say why for either way. No if’s and but’s. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverb 3:5-6
It is quite difficult isn’t it. When you read the Bible. Do you want to rationalise it? Do you want to question it? Do you want to analyse it? Do you want to break it down? Do you want to give it a time, place and person context? Do you just want to read it for pleasure or comfort? Or do you just want to read and ignore it? Can you read and understand yet not practice it? Well, all of us indeed go through this dilemma and each have designed their way (is what one thinks, but is that really true?) .He just planned it to be that way for each one of us.
“God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:20
And that is too difficult for any human to accept. We by nature believe we are and will be capable of understanding and thereby at-least able to control what’s within our “power”. And there starts all misery within us. Do we really let him steer the course. Really? Do we? Nt humanly possible! “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Proverbs 16:9
So therfore what is so difficult about the Word of God? Not it’s language? Not the hidden puzzles? Not the Philosophy? It is just “the Plain Truth”! Yes it is just the plain truth that is so hard for us to accept and to practice. And the lack of the courage to accept that. Instead we go around in circles doing PhDs on the Word of God. He just meant them to be plain simple and to just follow. Can we? And that’s what was meant in Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
The coming pages are a mere exploration of those different Truth’s I tried to capture. In no way does that amount to me telling I know it all or I have lived by it. But I think it is a good start. Just knowing it. Plain and simple.

Very we’ll explained it is just “the Plain Truth” due to lack of faith, trust, and submission we dont understand the truth and accept ,

Thanks Jona for the feedback and comments. What i have seen and observed is that it is so difficult for the human mind to just believe …especially believe in some thing unseen. And the more your educated, the greater your IQ the more challenging it becomes to surrender your inner ego to believe some thing with out immediate, tangible, humanly discernible evidence..
